He gets up whenever he wants. Goes on long walks. Takes cold showers. Watches movies and reads books and calls it — work.

He works whenever he wants and wherever he wants — even before the pandemic — he was working from home.

When you show this life to someone working in a 9–5 corporate. They might envy these folks. They know they are making more money. Yet, they say, money is not everything you know, these creatives are living their passion, they are enjoying the life of freedom.

And, here is what is going on in the creative’s head.

He’s tired. He’s feeling like a burnout.

He has come up with a really good Idea, but he fears if the idea would be accepted. He thinks if the idea is rejected, he is rejected.

If everyone likes the idea. He’s still fearful. He thinks “What if people expect the same kind of powerful idea next time and I go blank.”

“What if my Ideas are over?”

“No. I’m not good enough.”

“Maybe I’m a fake, an impostor, I ain’t a creative person.”

He’s drowning in self doubt, fear of judgement, fear of failure. Or worse — fear of success.

He’s obsessed with perfection. He is obsessed with creating something original.

He’s complaining. He’s tired.

He wishes he would have never taken down the path of creative living.

He’s worried if he sleeps for too long. He’s worried if he sleeps late.

He’s worried if he will be able to do it consistently.

He’s thinking it’s a curse, the creative genius attached with him.

He is so trapped in this negative zone, that he’s forgotten to enjoy the creative living.

All he needs to understand is this — People are desirous of his life for a reason.

He better enjoy living up to that reason and enjoy the heck out of his creative journey.
